Bomberman (ボンバーマン, Bonbāman, also briefly known as Dyna Blaster in Europe[1]) is a video game franchise originally developed by Hudson Soft and currently owned by Konami. The original game, also known as Bakudan Otoko (爆弾男), was released in Japan in July 1983 and has since spawned multiple sequels and spin-offs released on numerous platforms, as well as several anime and manga adaptations.As of 1998, the series has sold over 10 million copies.The most recent iteration, Amazing Bomberman, was released on August 5, 2022 on Apple Arcade.

Bonk’s Adventure, known as PC Genjin[a] in Japan and PC Kid in Europe,is a scrolling platform game developed by Red Company and Atlus and released in 1989 in Japan and 1990 in North America for the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16. The Japanese title PC Genjin is a play on the system’s original name, PC Engine, with the European title PC Kid similarly referencing the system’s name. The first game in the Bonk series, it was followed by two more games for the TurboGrafx-16 before branching out to other platforms.Bonk’s Adventure was ported to the NES and Amiga, as well as being released as a coin-operated arcade game, under different titles (FC Genjin and BC Genjin in Japan, and BC Kid in Europe). A completely different game with the same name appeared on the Game Boy (under the title GB Genjin in Japan).

Dragon Spirit is a 1987 vertical-scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Namco. In North America, it was distributed by Atari Games. Controlling the dragon Amul, the player must complete each of the game’s nine areas to rescue the princess Alicia from the demon Zawell. Similar to Namco’s own Xevious, Amul has a projectile weapon for destroying air-based enemies and a bomb for destroying ground enemies. It ran on the Namco System 1 arcade board.

Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu (ジャッキー・チェン, Jakkī Chen, Jackie Chan) is an action platform video game developed by Now Production and published by Hudson Soft. It was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990 and for the TurboGrafx-16 in 1991.

Samurai-Ghost is a 1992 hack and slash video game released by Namco for the TurboGrafx-16. It is the sequel to Genpei Tōma Den. It was released on the Wii Virtual Console in North America on October 29, 2007, and in Europe on November 2, 2007.

Super Star Soldier is a scrolling shooter video game developed by Kaneko and originally published by Hudson Soft in 1990 for the Japanese PC Engine and in 1991 for the North American TurboGrafx-16. It is the sequel to Star Soldier, and part of a vertical-scrolling shooter series by Hudson Soft. According to the company, many people believed Super Star Soldier’s graphics were the best of any HuCard game. Although the game was popular in Japan, it received less attention from the rest of the world.
